JDE is proud of its commitment to sustainability and the sourcing of certified coffee for multiple brands in various markets. The current ongoing supply disruption is impacting the whole industry’s supply of Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee.

As of April 2022, some of our brands like SENSEO® and LÓR with 100% Rainforest Alliance coffee may be impacted. JDE is committed to maintain its required volume of certified coffee. Once the supply becomes available, we have agreed to purchase additional Rainforest Alliance certified coffee to match coffee sourced from elsewhere during this period to help support farmers and protect the environment.

JDE, along with the rest of the coffee industry, hopes that the situation will improve, and our products will go back to being 100% certified as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we remain on track to our commitment of sourcing certified coffee as part of our journey to 100% responsibly sourced coffee by 2025.
